So the past few weeks have been good. I just got hooked up top to toe with Vans which I am super stoked about, all their outerwear is amazing, the boots rock and I am stoked to be part of their team! (Big thanks to Animal for all their support in the past).

Also the past two days I went to watch the Innsbruck Air and Style. On Friday night it was the Burn Rail Jam which Jonny Russel was competing in, it was really good to see him and he rode soooo well (front one on cab 3 out on a donkey kink!!!), Chloe Palmer was there as well so it was good to see her Then the next day it was the big air comp, first it was the Rookie Challenge which Jamie Nicholls was competing in he did really well landing a back 10 double cork and coming third (get in there Jamie !!!). Then it was the main comp which was amazing to watch, Sage Kotsenberg landed a cab double cork 1440 and Seppe Smits landed a cab 1440 as well, so it was a high standard of riding but in the end Mark McMorris won with a cab double cork 1260.

But then today I went up with my dad to ride and we did a run and then went over to the park where we saw Chris Chatt and James Thorne who were doing backflips out the pipe, we went down there and I went and tried one and landed on my shoulder and broke my collar bone which sucks so I am out for 3 weeks basically doing nothing My dad kindly took some pics of me in pain …..

On Monday it was my birthday I had a great day apart from having to go to school which sucked. I just chilled at home with my family in the sun. I’m going to Les Deux Alpes in one week which is going to be sick, counting down the days !!!

On Thursday and Friday I rode at Cas. On Thursday I rode with Jamie Nicholls, Keith Povah and Big Charlie (Jonny Russel is injured so he cant ride).. I got four new tricks that night and they were cab boardslide, switch back blunt, switch back nose and half-cab 50-50 all on the down bar which I’m stoked about!!! I did a bit of filming as well and made my first ShrEdit of last week and this week. Friday was Parkstrife which was fun but everything got wrecked straight away. I rode with Jordan Gee all night which was fun I got front 5′s dialed on the kicker as well.

Saturday was FBBB at Tamworth. The park was really good there was a side on rail then a box and then a small gas pipe at the start then there was a box then a side on missile then the massive black gas pipe then a rail. Then at the end of the run there was a c-box. I had really good night I got half-cab 5-0′s on the missile and nearly got a back 1 on. I won two t-shirts and a beanie (!). Then at the end of the night I got a bag full of stuff and best of all a years Whitelines subscription. Also Whitelines held a rail jam on the missile which was fun. Sadly Sam Turnbull broke his wrist on the quarter pipe in an awful slam and now he wont be coming to Les Duex Alpes with me

This week I went to Halifax twice. On Tuesday it was quite slow but it was still fun because it wasn’t windy and you could still get enough speed for the kicker. I rode with Sam Turnbull, it started to get foggy at the end which made it a bit faster. Then the next day it was really windy so I kept getting blown across when I hit the kicker which wasn’t very fun but it was still a good night.

Cas on Thursday was a good park because it was bits of the set up for the Standingsideways Sessions for the next night. I learnt frontside 270 onto the side on down box I also learnt frontside 360 on frontside 180 out which I am stoked about. Then on Friday it was the Standingsideways Sessions with features from Jonny Russell, Dom Harington and Stu Edwards. Dom had the pipe of mild peril, Stu had a perfect down bar and Jonny had a kicker to a spine to a down box which was called a Rythmic Razmataz. Overall it was a really good night and the best park we have had at Cas for ages, cant wait for Damo to do another one !

Saturday at Milton Keynes was another big air competition which was also good fun the kickers weren’t the best but it was still good because I rode with Jordan Gee. I landed all my tricks all night and got through to the final, I also landed both my final runs which were a back 3 tail grab and then and backside 540, which in the end was enough to come 3rd overall (all age groups) and won some money which I am stoked about!!!

This week went to Fax, Chill Factore and Cas. Fax was quite slow but fun did some 5′s and 3′s and I rode with Sam Turnbull who came as well for the first time in ages. Then on Wednesday we went to Slide 2010 which was cool. I saw all next seasons gear from Rome, Grenade, Stepchild, Head and loads more. The next years Rome Label’s (my board) graphics are sick and also it is reverse free camber which is different to this years model, also Grenade’s gloves and gear look amazing for next season and the Stepchild graphics look wicked. Grenade gave me some sponsor stuff which is all sick!!! Then we went to Chill factore and saw Jordan Gee and Charlie Clarke. The kicker was good and Charlie taught me backside 540 stalefish which is sick! Went to Cas Thursday and Friday. Thursday was fun they had some wooden features out which was cool and we made a little shredit. Then on Friday it was Parkstrife at Cas and the theme was wood so everything was made out of wood which was cool. At the top there was a wooden spine that you had to ollie ridiculously high to get on top, I managed it and it was defo my biggest ollie ever !!. I rode with Sam, Dom, Jonny and Beanz which was fun and it was nice to see Dom but he tweaked his bad ankle so he went home early which was rubbish But overall it was fun night and a fun week (thanks Tim for sorting us out).

Here is the shredit for this week

After the BEO I came back home and am back to riding at  Cas and Halifax again.

Last Tuesday I went Halifax for the first time again and the kicker was TINY compared to the BEO kickers !!! That night I tried corked back 5 mutes but didn’t land any. Went to fax again the day after and tried some more corked 5′s and still didn’t get them .

Then we went to Cas for the first time this year and saw Jonny Russell, Alec and Gary, it was good but it felt weird compared to the mountain because of the snow, it felt slow but it was fun. Jonny taught me backside 5-o frontside 180 out (check out the video below) !!! We went to Cas again on the Friday and I learnt backside 270 on to the side on box.

I want to say a massive well done to Jamie Nicholls at the BEO for getting through pre qualifying then qualifying then semi-finals to the final and placing 13th overall!!!!!!! so a BIG well done to Jamie, check out the video of his runs below.

On Thursday we went to Cas to shred, there was 3 kickers, spine, s box, side on box and the 10 metre. It was a fun night Jonny Russell did some filming with me. Also I got a new trick off the kicker which was cab 5′s which I am so stoked about. Also I got back board to switch 50-50 front 180 out and on the s box i got front lip to switch front blunt 270 out, Jonny chassed Si Foster round the car park with a belt after the shred, it was sooooo funny !

The next night we went to chill Factor for the DC night. The setup was OK they had a street bar, rail, box, 2 kickers, up box and a spine. It was another good night even though there were no DC riders there (get well soon Sam !). The kicker was good but it wasn’t as good than the one at Advita night, but anyway I still managed to get a new trick of the kicker which was front 5′s which I am again stoked about!!! After that we followed Jordan and Barry Gee to Wigan to stay over there for the night so we could set off early the following morning.

The next day we woke up early to meet Jordan and Barry in the Premier Inn car park to drive to Glasgow for the Lowlander at Bellahouston. When we got Scotland we went to pick up Marc McClement from his house to take him there. When we got to Bellahouston it was raining really badly but that was a good thing as it made the slope really fast. We got changed into our gear and went to ride. When we got onto the slope you couldn’t see the kicker it was that small but they had a lot of rails out. The first two runs were judged on kicker and quarter pipe and the other two runs were judged on the rails. I managed to get through to the final 5 which I was pleased about. In the finals you had the same amount of runs 2 on the kicker and quarter and 2 on the rails but because it was running late we only had 1 run on the rails. In the end I didn’t manage to place in the top 3, Matt McCormick came 1st who was killing it all day long!!! Also Danny McCormick came 2nd in 16 and over who was also killing it all day and Marc McClement came 1st in the 16 and over!!! All in all a totally sick day up in Scotland, can’t wait to get back up there

On Friday got to ride at Halifax with Dom Harington who is also sponsored by Animal.

He brought with him a guy called Luke to take some pictures and another sick rider called Dan. I can’t wait to see the pictures that Luke got, my dad took some that you can see here. Dom and Dan were killing it to say they haven’t ridden dry slope for ages, Dom was doing some corked 7′s and 5′s also he did a back flip on his 3rd run!!! Dan was doing some crazy stuff like back flip 180′s, back flips and some front 3′s!!!

When we finished at Fax we headed down to the Burton Scrap Metal, the drive down there was rubbish we were stuck in queues all the way down there we still managed to get down there on time though. When I went on to the slope I found  Jordan Gee to shred with which was good fun but the park was a bit mental with huge gaps onto the side on rails. I managed to get on to one of them and front board it. The winner of the women’s category was Katie Omerod who was riding really well doing front blunt 270 outs on the down bar which looked sick. In the men’s category it was Si Foster in 3rd place, then a guy called George Wooley but in first place was Johnny Russell who landed a a sick backside 360 on to the down bar. So overall it was a good night!!!

That night we stayed over in Hemel Hemsted. My dad drove up a spiral road to the car park but it was closed so he had to reverse all the way back down it LOL. The next day we went home thinking it would take us 3 hours but the it ended up taking us about 7 hours!!!

Thursday night we went over to Castleford  for a shred, Jonny Russel taught me a new trick on the down bar which was front blunt 270 outs which I’m stoked about !
