I went to Castleford on Saturday for the British Snow Tour and the setup was sick but the format was rubbish you had to do 2 runs on boxes and 2 runs on rails it would of been better if it was 2 runs on whatever you wanted to hit instead of forcing people to ride boxes!!! I came 2nd in youth men and got some “sick” prizes, a 4 hour Sno!zone voucher and a whitelines subscription how rad is that ….. Then on Sunday I came back home to Mayrhofen which I was stoked about.

The past few days I have been riding with Jamie Nicholls and Mathias Weissenbacher (an Austrian shred master !!) the medium line is open and it is sick. They have built the pro line jumps and they are massive but look sick can’t wait to ride them!

There are already some pros up there like Torstein Horgmo and Markus Keller. I managed to snake Torstein on the gaspipe which was pretty funny. I have got some new boots which are the Celtek Hi-Standards and also I have a new board which is the Joe Sexton Pro Model and they are both sick so thanks Vans and Stepchild! 

Yesterday I went up the mountain with my dad and Jamie and it was icy and on my second run to the bottom I got cut up by a skier and tried to stop but I couldn’t stop and bailed hard on the ice and bit my lip really bad so we came down

Method Interview!

Also I did a little interview with Method Mag, it is in the first issue and it’s my 1st ever interview in a magazine so go and check it out it is a free mag and it can be found in your local snowboard shop!

Tomorrow is opening day at Tux so the whole park will be open can’t wait to get up there and ride, gonna be here all of October !!!

The Park!!!

Last week me and my dad went to London and watched the Vans Downtown Showdown and it was awesome the skating was insane so many good skaters, also there were some rad people there that I saw like Wee Man and Steve Van Doren the owner of Vans which was sick, check out the video highlights.

After that we drove to Tamworth and I went for a shred but it wasn’t that good because everything was sticky and not everything was put in straight but I still had a good time. The next morning I got a train to York and went and stayed with my friend Joe whilst I was there I saw all my mates which was cool, I then went and stayed at my uncles for a few days aswell thanks for looking after me and giving lifts to and from Cas I went to Cas on Thursday and Friday, on Thursday I saw Keith Povah, Simon Foster and Big Charlie it was rad to shred with them all again I had so much fun they had a sick park out, side on gaspipe, Nike Stairset and then a donkey kink it was sick!

Then Friday it was the Whitelines rail jam (like the one we did at the boardtest but in the dome) and that was a sick, same park as Thursday but with the DC Jet Set after the Nike Stairset then a high box. They had loads of prizes and they had jams on the Nike Stairset and the DC Jet Set I got in the final for the Jet Set but I didn’t think that it was that good a feature, the best was the Nike stair set which I did Half-Cab 5-o, back noseslide pretzel and back one on. In the end I won Union bindings, 50 quid, Whitelines Subscription and Dragon goggles which is rad!!!

So back in Cornwall now went surfing Yesterday with Jamie Nicholls, Katie Ormerod, Sophie Nicholls and Mathias Weissenbacher which was good fun then did a spot of fishing (caught nothing as usual).

Some of the park!!!

Today was so rad got to ride with Simon Chamberlain and do some filming with Stepchild and then after that did the Send it with Simon and got some props off them and some high 5′s such a rad day definitely won’t forget it!!!!!

On Friday me, my dad, Chris Chatt, Rich Hookes and Beckna all flew to Scotland for Vans Dawn of the Shred it was my first time back in the UK so it felt a bit weird. Every morning I would have sausage and beans which were really nice then I went up the mountain. On Saturday it was the comp we got up there and they were still shaping everything so we could only do some normal runs. It also started to get really windy up there and a bit cold so the fog kept coming and going. They finally opened the rails and we could ride them. Practice went on and then it came to the comp we did 2 kicker runs and then 1 rail run, my best kicker run was front 3 melon to back 3 tail the kickers were small so you couldn’t do much. Then on the rails I did back lip, tail-slide 270 out, 50-50 front lip and then 50-50 back 3 on the up rail and landed flat and fell. In the end  I came 2nd in my category so I was stoked!!! Well done to Sam Turnbull for winning the open category!

FOUR!!!!

The next day I went up to meet Matt McCormick and Angus Trinder. Over night so many rocks had  come through they had to move the blue gas pipe so it was a flat pipe which sucked, because once you landed that you had to ollie a load of rocks and as soon as you landed you would be on the kicker for the next rail. I had such a fun last day just jibbing and messing around because everything was so sketchy then in the last half hour of the day me, Matt and Angus tried some stuff on the tyre I tried some back rodeos but kept washing out on them and Matt and Angus did some backflips I was stoked that I finally tried rodeos on a jump, it was such a fun day. In the evening we went round to Gregor Samuels house for some Haggis it was really good! Also it was really good to see Gregor walking around and chatting away, he was a guest judge aswell so he was walking around on the hill climbing up the landing of the jump doing all sorts which was really good to see! So a BIG thanks to the Samuels for an amazing tea!

I am back in the Hoff now and I checked the webcam and there is barely any snow left so the park is shut so it’s time to go up to Tux!

New Snowboards!!!

The past two days it has been the Snowbombing competition up the mountain which has been really fun. Yesterday was the highest ollie comp, it was flat light but still a good session ! It was a whippy jump with a pole to clear and I think I managed to clear about 180cm which I was pretty amazed about ! They then raised it higher and it was to high so I just jumped into it and fell, Henry Jackson then asked the crowd if they wanted me to do it again and everyone just went YEAAAAAAAAHHHH! I went back up and it was even higher and just jumped into it again. Then it was the water slide so I dressed up as Batman and went for it, it was so much fun doing cab 1 into it !!!!

How Hot!!!

Then today it was cash for tricks, everyone just had fun doing some fun tricks and all the bombers were bailing. One guy really hurt himself and had to go off in a helicopter which was pretty bad so they closed the jump and opened the waterslide and I  won 5 euros on it and I won 5 euros on the jump so in the day I won 10 euros YAY! Also this week a big box arrived and inside was 3 new Stepchild snowboards!!! Thanks alot Stepchild!

It has started to turn into summer now with temperatures nearly reaching 30 degrees,  so up the hill all the snow is melting and it is never cold anymore, I think its time to head up to Hintertux! Then tomorrow I have to get up at 5:00 in the morning to get a flight from Munich to Gatwick and then to Inverness for Dawn of the Shred, gonna drink some Irn Bru made from gurders!

This week has been a really really warm week so no jackets just hoodies it is sick! Also this week this sick pic was taken by Greg Stevens and then used for this!
