Been riding in Breck the past few days and the jumps are sick! I have learnt cab 9′s whilst I have been out here which I am stoked about, the weather hasn’t been great the whole time I’ve been here but there are some sick rails so we rode them on the bad days.

We went to Keystone today and it was really quiet and the jumps were sick and I did 5 cab 9′s in a row off the first jump in the pro line!!

Rookie Fest Setup

Went to Livigno on Saturday With Jamie Nicholls, my dad and Henry Jackson. I was in the groms category and the run I did in qualification was cab 5, back 7, front 3 then 50-50 method on the up rail. I qualified in 5th place into the finals and in the finals my best run was cab 5, back 7, front 7, then 50-50 back 3 off the up rail. In the end I stayed in 5th place which I was stoked about!!! I am in Breck now and I went up today to check out the park and it is sick loads of rails and really nice jumps

It has snowed non stop for nearly a week and it has just stopped!!! Here is an edit of me riding around Mayrhofen

I came back to Mayrhofen a few days ago and it had dumped loads! It snowed for two days non stop when we got back so there was a lot of powder, I went and rode the baby tour hopping off the side into some knee deep powder! Archie got a snowboard for Christmas so he is learning how to snowboard up at the Ahorn and he is doing pretty good check out the video.Today was a fun day because it wasn’t cloudy or flat light it was sunny so I could hit the medium line, they are really nice the first one wasn’t shaped to good but still I did some stunts off it I did some cab 5 to front 7 which was fun. They still haven’t put out all the park yet but at the bottom of this page is the park plan.

Katie Ormerod came out as well today she came up at lunch time so we rode the park for a bit and then when the shade came in we went and built a little backflip jump into some powder which was quite fun we each did a backflip off it then we had to go down. I also did a frontflip that I pretty much landed which I was stoked about because it was my first one! The Hotzone Groms Open comp is on Friday but I’m not sure if it will happen because it’s meant to snow loads in the next few days.

On Friday I drove from Truro to Hemel for the Nike Chosen Series first stop at Hemel. They had built a 13 metre kicker which is quite big for indoor! We were allowed on the slope at half six but couldn’t hit the jump so I had a few runs on the rails to warm up because I hadn’t ridden for nearly two months. I finally hit the jump when it opened and it was quite wippy. As the comp went on some good tricks were being put down Andy Nudds was rippng some front sevens off the toes and the heels, Sam Cullum was doing some crazy inverted back 7 nose grabs. I did some back 3 tail grabs and a back 7 tail grab and a couple of front threes. I managed to get into the final top ten with Jordan Gee, Andy Nudds, Angus Leith, Jesse Smith, Scott Penman, Marc McClement, Sam Cullum and others. In the final I did some back 3′s tried some back 7′s but couldn’t land them so I did a method instead and a couple of front 3 melons and some front 5′s which was good. Nuddsy did a massive front 10 and Jesse and Marc both did doubles! Jamie Nicholls didn’t turn up in the end as he was to busy doing snowboard stunts in Stuttgart! In the end Nuddsy won the overall and is now invited to the overall final. Going back to Mayrhofen soon but my dad managed to get an infection to a wound in his arm which sucks and has delayed us from going back

All of October I went up to Hintertux with the GB team and it was sick! The whole park is amazing up there especially the pro line two big mellow jumps in a row. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t that good for the month but on the days that we did get to ride it was rad. On the jumps I did some backside  3′s, 5′s and 7′s and also some frontside 3′s, 5′s and 7′s which I was stoked about because it was my first time spinning frontside on big jumps and I also got backside 7 to frontside 7 which was rad! Also on the medium jumps I learnt switch back 5′s which I have never done before so I was

stoked. Most of the time I was riding with Jamie Nicholls also I rode with Matt McCormick when he came out for a few days. During the last week Katie Ormerod came out and stayed with me so I rode with her some days on the mediums, she was riding sick as well. Then last Thursday I went to London Freeze Festival and we stayed in a pimping apartment. That night we went out and had the best steak in the world at a place called Santa Maria Del Sur. Then on Friday I rode in the Battle of Britain competition we only got 3 practice runs and on my second practice run I caught an edge and landed on the knuckle on my back but it didn’t hurt but it shook

METHOD!

me up a bit but I got back up and did it again. Then in the comp I did a method which everyone seemed to love so I was happy and I am glad that I did it. Dom Harington was there and he rode really well he got 2nd in the comp he also rode well in Hintertux when he stayed with me he was trying back double 10′s and almost landed them well done Dom. Also I got some rad new goggles from Adidas to wear in the comp they are the Adidas ID2 Pure they are sick thanks Adidas! On the Saturday it was the FIS comp and there was some sick riding just basically doubles every run. Ben Kilner did a sick back double 10 which he stomped and got through to the final. Jamie did the same trick and got through to the final as well! In the final Ben didn’t land his double but Jamie landed a back double 10 and a cab 10 and managed to get 4th well done to Ben and Jamie. The top 3 were Joris Ouwerkerk in 3rd then Seppe Smits in 2nd and Janne Korpi in first.

Tomorrow I am going to Kaunertal for the day with Tom West, Mark Ruparelia and some others then Stubai on Thursday its gonna be sick. But then I have to go back to school the week after which sucks!

I went to Castleford on Saturday for the British Snow Tour and the setup was sick but the format was rubbish you had to do 2 runs on boxes and 2 runs on rails it would of been better if it was 2 runs on whatever you wanted to hit instead of forcing people to ride boxes!!! I came 2nd in youth men and got some “sick” prizes, a 4 hour Sno!zone voucher and a whitelines subscription how rad is that ….. Then on Sunday I came back home to Mayrhofen which I was stoked about.

The past few days I have been riding with Jamie Nicholls and Mathias Weissenbacher (an Austrian shred master !!) the medium line is open and it is sick. They have built the pro line jumps and they are massive but look sick can’t wait to ride them!

There are already some pros up there like Torstein Horgmo and Markus Keller. I managed to snake Torstein on the gaspipe which was pretty funny. I have got some new boots which are the Celtek Hi-Standards and also I have a new board which is the Joe Sexton Pro Model and they are both sick so thanks Vans and Stepchild! 

Yesterday I went up the mountain with my dad and Jamie and it was icy and on my second run to the bottom I got cut up by a skier and tried to stop but I couldn’t stop and bailed hard on the ice and bit my lip really bad so we came down

Method Interview!

Also I did a little interview with Method Mag, it is in the first issue and it’s my 1st ever interview in a magazine so go and check it out it is a free mag and it can be found in your local snowboard shop!

Tomorrow is opening day at Tux so the whole park will be open can’t wait to get up there and ride, gonna be here all of October !!!
