King of the Kicker

Sunday we went over to Rossendale for the 1st time for the King of the Kicker Competition.
It was my first time at Rossendale so I didn’t really know what to expect. When I arrived I couldn’t see the freestyle park all I could see was a big dendex slope with a huge quarter pipe. The park was right at the top so you had to walk up about a hundred steps to get there. They have a new snowflex kicker that’s about 6ft maybe bigger which was is pretty nice, but the run in is a bit small and the landing is weird !
Anyway I managed to land all my qualifying runs really easy, even though it was dead slow and sticky but I still managed to get through to the the under 16′s final where I eventually finished 2nd behind my mate Jordan Gee who threw a sick front 5 on his last run. So I’m pretty stoked with that as I won 10 pounds and some clothes !

Nice one Rowan! I’ve never ridden Rossie either, it was too far for us to go on a Sunday though
